Lou L. Sattelmaier born July 1, 1935 went to be with Jesus Monday December 28th. He is survived by his beloved wife Florence Elaine, married for 47 years, 5 children, Lisa M. Sattelmaier of Brunswick, William J. Sattelmaier (Candy) of Olmsted Falls, Robert G. Sattelmaier (Shannon) of Wellington, Suzanne E. Berrios (Samuel) of Lorain, John L. Sattelmaier (Melissa) of Brunswick, 12 grandchildren Jessica, Elizabeth, Joshua, Andrea, Christopher, Isaiah, Jacob, Grace, Hannah, Matthew, Michael and Chloe, sister Inga Pascal and brother George A. Sattelmaier (Anna) He was active in auto racing since 1971 until 2004 with Lou Sattelmaier Racing and educated thousands of young people on drug prevention with his funny car, was a special sheriff deputy for 10 years, served in the U.S. Army Reserves, and was an honorary US Navy recruiter.
